Manage Your Weight

The Issue

In Brighton and Hove more than 43,500 adults are considered obese and a quarter of Year 6 children about to enter secondary school are overweight or obese. Obesity is a major public health challenge as it increases the risk of diabetes, stroke, heart disease, certain cancers and often impacts on self-esteem.
