Lunch clubs and shared meals

We can offer advice on where to find a low-cost, delicious home-cooked meal and suggest ways to volunteer in a community food project.

There are many places you can go in the city to get a great home-cooked, low-cost meal, meet friendly people and enjoy food together. You can join one of the regular lunch clubs which take place every week through the city. Or visit a local community cafe where you can be sure of a friendly welcome, low-cost meal and the chance to be part of your local area.

Other organisations run shared meal events, cookery courses and food projects where you can share a meal.

Whether you are interested in enjoying food together in company or you would like to volunteer your time to help out there are plenty of opportunities across the city.

Search our directory to find a lunch club, community cafe or location to share a meal with other people.
