We can organise one-off or ongoing activities for groups of people from existing services in the city.
We are often approached by voluntary and community organisations or statutory services who want to add cookery or gardening activities to what they offer their users. If you have funding in place, we can discuss options, including reduced rates for the smallest community groups. Our team have expertise in working with people of all ages and abilities.
We can also input into funding bids or other fundraising efforts if you need to raise additional resources before starting an activity. We have evaluation data and case studies on the benefits we have seen from our previous work:
- Healthier diet and improved physical health
- Decreased stress and improved mood
- Decreased isolation and loneliness
- Increased confidence
- Increased skills, and in some cases new careers and employment!
“When I was diagnosed I didn’t know what to do, I’d been working hard for a long time, it’s really nice for me to come here and have something to do. It’s meant I have had something when I broke down. It’s nice to be with other people and cook.”
