Are you looking to do something fun, inspiring and interactive outside of your regular working environment? We provide a choice of cookery and gardening events and activities where your staff can enjoy creating and sharing great food in a relaxed setting.
Our food events are a fun, creative and solution for:
- Team building & away days
- Staff development
- Employee incentive and reward
- Seasonal / celebration/ Christmas events
Whether it is a team building activity or simply to give your staff a treat, our events are an informal and sociable way to get together a group of colleagues that will help your team improve communication, effectively manage tasks and have a good time together.
There are over 75 community gardens in Brighton & Hove where people are growing food together – teams can help with everything from picking fruit & veg to satisfying larger jobs like building raised beds, clearing or planting. We run some gardens ourselves where we can host groups, or we can put you in touch with projects across the city.
We believe that food brings people together. As well as learning new cookery skills that they can try at home, cooking and sharing food together can help bring your team together and develop a greater connection with each other, increasing trust and team spirit.
All our events are hosted by experienced Cookery Leaders. We supply all equipment and ingredients and are fully insured. Our Community Kitchen includes space for you to sit and eat together and share your creations. Activities could include:
- Creating homemade Italian pastas and sauces
- Artisan bread baking
- Biscuit baking & decorating
- ‘Pick and cook’ sessions which include activities at a local community garden
- A range of world cuisines from sushi rolls to Spanish tapas
Choose from the list above or if you have an idea talk to us and we’ll see if we can create something special for you and make a team experience to remember. Please enquire for details. Bespoke discounts offered on repeat bookings. Cookery School vouchers are also available as gifts and Employee Rewards.
