Dementia friendly food project - Cookery group - 8 sessions
Cooking, eating and spending time preparing a meal can be a wonderful activity to help bring back happy memories of the past or previous knowledge. At our cookery sessions, participants get involved in preparing a healthy meal, with different dishes each week. We then eat the food together as a shared lunch.

The sessions are suitable for those with mild to moderate dementia and carers are welcome to attend as well. This project is funded by the NHS Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group. All sessions are delivered by Food Partnership staff alongside trained volunteers. Participants and carers can contact us directly or be referred through professionals such as the Memory Assessment Service.
