Get advice about volunteering

Brighton & Hove is full of inspiring food projects. Here’s how to get involved as a volunteer.

We work closely with the community food projects in the city. We can give you lots of helpful information on the best community garden or food project for you and introduce you to friendly people who will welcome your involvement.

Our directory has information about projects where you can volunteer at a community garden, help combat food waste or join a cooking project.

I had no idea all these projects existed.  It’s made a massive difference to me having support to get started and this has helped me make the first step.
