Shape Up After Baby

Shape Up After Baby is a tailored programme to shift those post-baby pounds and develop healthy habits. If you are above a healthy weight and had a baby six weeks to one year ago, this free programme is especially for you.

What to expect

Just like Shape Up with the added benefit of being able to bring your baby with you.

Shape Up After Baby consists of 10 weekly sessions, each lasting 1½ hours. The sessions include 45 minutes of healthy eating advice and 45 minutes of exercise for mums of all fitness levels.

You can expect a relaxed and supportive group environment where you can share ideas and practical tips and join in with exercise sessions run by activity leaders catering for mums with babies.

We will provide you with up-to-date, evidence-based information on healthy eating and help you identify the changes you need to make to achieve your weight loss and physical activity goals.

Babies and toddlers are welcome too and our friendly staff will be on hand to help, particularly during the activity sessions.

Our help and support doesn't end when you have finished your 10 week programme. We have a number of options to suit, ranging from our ranging from our weekly drop in support group and a special Shape Up After Baby in the Kitchen cookery course.
