Learn to create the ultimate holiday cheese board with innovative wine & food pairings in this festive workshop with cheese-expert Patrick.
Be quick if you want to join our popular festive cheese and wine event – led by top food writer Patrick McGuigan and Helen Chesshire of the Bolney Wine Estate. We can’t wait to welcome this fun duo back to the Kitchen after their previous sold-out events.
In this hands-on class, Patrick will share his tips for selecting the best cheeses for your festive feasts and you will taste some of Patrick’s favourite cheeses – all made by small farmhouse and artisan cheesemakers. He will also share a selection of unusual accompaniments for you to taste alongside – from honey or nuts to the more unusual chocolate or even Christmas cake!
You will taste five cheeses in total, and alongside Helen will offer some award-winning still and sparkling wines as she reveals how you can complement your creations with the best in English wines and spirits from the Bolney Estate.
This is great seasonal prep for impressing your guests this Christmas – or maybe just for readying yourself for a little indulgence by the fireside this holiday.
Patrick McGuigan is a Brighton-based food journalist & cheese writer for a range of national titles. He is a senior judge at the World Cheese Awards, a member of the Guild des Fromagers, teaches Academy of Cheese training courses at the School of Fine Food in London and also runs the Online Cheese School.
