Surplus Food Business Brunch

Tuesday 9th October 2018
11:00 am - 1:00 pm

About this event

Does your business ever produce surplus food?  Do you find yourself unsure about what to do with potential food waste?Surplus Food Network logo

The Surplus Food Network is an alliance of organisations working in Brighton, Hove and surrounding areas.  We collect surplus food from businesses and distribute it to people who need it most such as those in food poverty or experiencing homelessness.  We can take all different types of food.

This event is designed to help you get to know the Surplus Food Network better and how we can work together with you to reduce any food waste.

We will be feasting on delicious snacks made from surplus food, learning from other businesses who are already involved and networking with like-minded people.

Working with the Surplus Food Network will; improve your corporate social responsibility, create publicity for the beneficial work you are doing with your local community and save money by reducing the amount of waste you have.

Our aim is to reduce food waste across the region, work with us to help make this a reality.

Can’t come to the event but still would like to work with us?  Check out our webpages about donating surplus food or contact Helen on helen@bhfood.org.uk if you have any questions.
