Dim Sum with Chef Jethro – VEGAN – SOLD OUT

Tuesday 21st January 2025
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

About this event

jethroSmall-plate cooking the Chinese way!

Chinese cuisine has long embraced what many in the UK are only just discovering today – that you get more bang for your buck with bite-sized dishes. In this hands-on course, you will be taken on a journey of discovery to learn about the different styles of dim sum and the specialist ingredients needed for them, before preparing and cooking your own using a traditional steamer basket over a wok.

You will create siu mai, a type of open wonton, and learn three types of folds for dumplings with different flavourings and fillings – at this special Dim Sum lesson for Veganuary, all fillings will be vegan.

What previous participants said: “Amazing class, thank you so much! Liked the interactive experience, relaxing environment and teacher.” “Will definitely try this again at home.” “Really enjoyed the whole evening; learning all the folding techniques and watching the chef.”

Dietary information: This class is suitable for vegan or vegetarian diets. This class involves cooking with seeds and gluten. The class is not adaptable for a Gluten Free diet. For any other allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us to discuss before booking.
