Have you moved to a plant-based diet recently or thinking of giving Veganuary a go? Or do you find yourself cooking regularly for vegan friends or family?

If you’ve answered yes, then this is the workshop for you. Many people are unsure of how to make a vegan diet balanced and nutritionally complete, but these diets are suitable for every age, at every life stage. However, when moving to a vegan diet, it is important to get the right information and to make sure your meals fit your nutritional needs.

In this interactive nutrition and cooking webinar you will come away with a better understanding of what a balanced vegan diet looks like including:

– How to build a balanced plant-based plate

– Key macro and micronutrients that can be lacking in a vegan diet, and how to ensure you meet your needs

– How to avoid common mistakes when moving to a plant-based diet

– Easy vegan swaps

You’ll make a delicious, balanced vegan meal and breakfast ready for the next day.

  • link to the webinar on Zoom (we will share further details if you have not used Zoom before)
  • lists of ingredients and equipment to assemble before the lesson (or you can choose to watch along and prepare the recipe at another time).
  • all recipes and a handout from the class emailed afterwards

Please note we appreciate that this is prime kitchen time for many with hungry kids, teenagers and partners wanting to use this space. Fran runs this workshop so the first 60 minutes is information and chat – you don’t need to be in the kitchen for this bit. The last 30 minutes is cooking – you can also easily double up ingredients for a family meal. That’s what Fran will be doing. Or you can choose to watch along and prepare the recipe at another time.

Tickets for this event are £19.99 per person. We also offer a limited number of concession tickets on a ‘pay by donation’ basis – we suggest £10 if unwaged. All full price tickets help us keep these classes accessible to all. Please note we do not typically offer refunds on online events.
