A unique Christmas offer – parties and events at the Community Kitchen

This Christmas, why not try something a bit different? Get your team working together to create their own festive spread, then enjoy it together while we take care of the washing up! We supply all the ingredients for an enjoyable and memorable Christmas party, and all bookings also support our community cookery activities.

mince pies baking in the ovenOur friendly and professional cooks will guide your team through making and serving up a delicious, locally-sourced Christmas dinner with a choice of tasty mains, trimmings and dessert.

Our festive activities include a welcome glass of mulled wine, then you can bring your own drinks to enjoy alongside or let us arrange wines/ fizz from Brighton Wine Co starting at just £10pp.

Over a leisurely 3.5 hours we will help you make a meal to remember, no matter your level of skill or experience. Then sit back and relax at our long dining table to enjoy the feast you have created together.

Our three-course festive menu focuses on vegetarian/ vegan dishes, but more options for meat-based dishes are available if desired. We are experienced at catering for a wide range of dietary requirements, just contact us to discuss. Or let us know if you prefer a non-traditional menu – our skilled chefs can offer a huge range of options from Indian Banquets to Moroccan feasts. Prices start from £59.99pp+VAT, with a typical group size of 12-20 participants.

  • Alternatively, bake and decorate Christmas biscuits or mince pies for some sweet Christmas fun. These shorter, 2-hour sessions can be a fun prelude to the main Christmas party or a cooperative activity for smaller teams. Prices from £35pp+VAT.

All sessions include:
• Professional tuition from experienced and fully trained and insured cookery leaders
• All ingredients and equipment
• Unlimited hot drinks and a welcome glass of mulled wine (with the option to BYOB further drinks)
• Recipes for all dishes

Instead of supplying Christmas crackers, we will make a donation of £1 per attendee to Chomp Brighton who provide holiday gifts to local children in need.

By holding your event in the Community Kitchen, you support community cookery courses which help make lasting changes in people’s lives, such as people with learning disabilities or those on low incomes. Find out more about how we invest in people, the local community and our wider environment.
