It is the first ever national Food Waste Action Week!
From March 1st-7th, people across the UK will be asked asked to take part in a simple challenge to reduce the food they waste at home to as close to zero as possible.
Brighton and Hove Food Partnership is proud to be a strategic partner in the campaign to support our ambition to become a ‘food use city’. With food making up a third of our domestic bin waste, we’ve got a big task on our hands, but having become the first ever Gold Food City, we know we can do this.
Take the Food Waste Action Challenge
We’re setting a daily challenge and encourage everyone to adopt at least one. To help, our chef Charlotte will be posting videos and tips from our Community Kitchen, which you can follow on Facebook, Instagram or our Youtube channel.
