Teach at our cookery school – freelance roles available

We are recruiting freelance chefs to join our cookery school team.

Are you confident leading groups and organised in planning sessions? 

This is an opportunity to join our friendly team at the Community Kitchen – our cookery school on Queens Road in central Brighton. The role works alongside our staff and volunteer team to deliver sessions, run a safe & enjoyable cookery school and continue to develop and expand our offer.

We are looking for people with professional-level cookery skills, alongside confidence to lead groups and an organised approach to lesson planning. We expect each new teacher to lead at least 3-4 different lessons that add to the offer in our cookery class programme. We are particularly interested in chefs able to teach vegan cookery, classic cookery skills, baking & patisserie and international cuisines such as Mexican, Ethiopian, Indian and Vietnamese.
