Cultivate EU We are part of Cultivate EU - with 19 partners in 10 countries across Europe, we are sharing learning about local food projects. Food Systems Equality Project We are involved in an ambitious project to transform how less affluent residents access and enjoy good food. Land Use Plus project We're working with farmers, the council, and others to improve food production practices that impact on climate change. Soil in The City Soil in The City is about connecting people using affordable food projects with the land / local food projects where food is grown. Keen for Beans Beans & pulses provide taste, nutrition, cost and climate benefits - so we're sharing recipes & tips in our Keen for Beans campaign. Food Use Places We're working with community organisations across East Sussex to tackle food waste at community centres & in local households. Changing Chalk Project – Growing New Roots Ecotherapy activities to improve wellbeing, get outdoors and take time to connect with the local chalk downland between Shoreham & Eastbourne. Green Wellbeing Alliance Green Wellbeing Alliance members are local groups that provide therapeutic outdoor activities. Stanmer Wellbeing Gardens Stanmer Wellbeing Gardens is a space where people nurture wellbeing, through food-growing, gardening, education and nature connection activities. Hire the clubhouse This former golf clubhouse is nestled on the outskirts of Brighton and offers beautiful views from its large meeting room space. Community composting We set-up and support community compost schemes where you can take your raw fruit and vegetable waste, tea bags, coffee grounds, cardboard and paper. Food Strategy The Brighton and Hove food strategy aims to achieve a healthy, sustainable and fair food system for everyone in the city and beyond. About the Community Kitchen Our cookery school offers classes for everyone from beginners to experienced cooks, as well as private parties, venue hire and community cookery groups. Consultancy & training Our staff team have expertise in a range of areas and deliver training and consultancy to both professionals and the public. Sussex Grazed We run a local meat buying scheme which aims to benefit local people, local farmers and the environment. Emergency Food Network The Emergency Food Network is a collaboration of food banks and other organisations providing food to those in need because of food poverty. Good Food Procurement Group We help large organisations to serve more healthy, local food in their catering services. Dementia friendly food project The Food Partnership run friendly gardening & cookery groups for people living with dementia.
