Brighton & Hove Food Partnership is recruiting a Community Cookery Leader (maternity cover)

Do you enjoy sharing cookery skills and recipes with others?

Are you skilled at leading groups for a wide range of people, including vulnerable adults and children? 

This is an opportunity to join our friendly team at the Community Kitchen – our cookery school on Queens Road in central Brighton. We are looking for an experienced cook and group leader who will deliver community cookery activities for a wide range of client groups, from adults with learning disabilities to local primary school children to people living on low incomes. The role works alongside our staff and volunteer team to deliver sessions, run a safe & enjoyable cookery school and support our social media & marketing.

This role is part-time, 22.5 hours per week.

Salary: £25,141 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) pro rata for 22.5 hrs per week = £15,085. Please note this is a maternity cover position, likely to run for 9-12 months, depending on the return date of the current postholder.
