An exciting opportunity for a freelance qualified Nutritionist / Dietitian to work at our new Community Kitchen
A unique element of our course offer at the Community Kitchen will be courses led by qualified nutritionists / dietitians offering advice and support to people of all ages from baby weaning to eating well for people over 75. This role will both lead the delivery of cookery and nutrition classes for groups of up to 12 people and advise the Food Partnership on the content of the courses they deliver. The role will deliver sessions to groups of people that have bought places on a course and ‘closed’ groups where there is a funding arrangement / referral process to work with a specific community of vulnerable people.
We are looking for someone who can contribute to our communications work by writing blogs and engaging with other social media and can help us to stay up to date with nutrition-related news and research.
If you have a passion for sharing nutritional messages via cookery classes and have the nutrition qualifications we are looking for but don’t have experience of leading cookery sessions we are still keen to hear from you. We have one place available (for the successful candidate) on a ‘Jamie’s Ministry of Food Train the Trainer Programme’. This course place is worth a significant value and we are willing to cover the cost of the place however you must be able to attend for 5 days from 30th April.
We expect that there will be in the region of 25-30 days work over a year. The schedule of delivery has some flexibility but there will be classes delivered during the day / evening and at weekends.

We are also recruiting for a social media volunteer – this would suit a student or recent graduate from a media or marketing course or a more experienced person looking to gain experience in the community/ social enterprise sector.
