We’re recruiting – Internship Post

We are recruiting for a 12-week internship for the Food Use Places project, which will also work across other projects.

This is an entry-level internship, ideal for someone looking for their first job in the environmental sector. No prior experience or qualifications are required.

You’ll be part of a supportive, hard-working team in an award-winning non-profit organisation. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has the ability to work independently and be confident in engaging members of the public
  • Enjoys communicating with people and has a friendly, approachable manner
  • Is comfortable using everyday IT tools and is interested in creating social media content

Role Information

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: Real Living Wage Rate, £13.45 per hour

  • How you meet the person specification
  • Your interest in the role
  • How this internship aligns with your future career plans
  • Confirm your right to work in the UK and state what documentation you can provide in order to demonstrate this e.g. British passport/birth certificate/European Economic Area identity card/travel document showing an authorisation to reside and work in the UK, etc
  • Provide names and contact details of two appropriate referees to whom confidential enquiries may be made. These don’t need to be from a paid job. They could be from a teacher, tutor, course leader, volunteer coordinator, community organiser, or anyone who can comment on your reliability and enthusiasm.
