Reduces food waste and provides people in food poverty with access to fruit, vegetables, bread and other surplus from local food businesses and is stocked from donations of surplus from the 400 allotment-holders on the Weald site as well as local supermarkets and food businesses

Volunteers Needed:
Wednesday Volunteers
We’re also looking for volunteers to help us on Wednesday mornings. We receive a delivery of food from FareShare and, alongside this, we rotate the contents of the freezer and prepare the Freezer List and Specials Board ready for the following day.
The commitment would be one or two Wednesdays from 9.30am to approximately 11.30am.
Some basic IT skills would be helpful, as we use a computer to prepare the Freezer List and print labels. If you’re interested in getting involved in this part of our service, which doesn’t involve working directly with customers, we’d love to hear from you.
