Reduces food waste and provides people in food poverty with access to fruit, vegetables, bread and other surplus from local food businesses and is stocked from donations of surplus from the 400 allotment-holders on the Weald site as well as local supermarkets and food businesses

When:

  • Thursdays
  • Sundays

10am -12 midday , or closing earlier if all the food has gone.

Audience and Access:

Open to the public. No referral needed. There is a charge of £2 in return for a basket of food

Donations Requested:

Fresh, ambient and frozen food are accepted

Volunteers Needed:

Volunteer foragers to collect donated food from local shops on Wednesday and Saturday nights from 20:45-22:15, one or two sessions per month (car or van required) Volunteers to help at our food distribution sessions, from 9.15 to 12.15 on Thursdays and Sundays, one or two sessions per month.
