Casserole Club is a community service supporting people in Brighton & Hove who feel isolated. We put older or vulnerable people in touch with a neighbour who can drop off a free, wholesome meal and have a friendly chat which we hope will become a regular arrangement. The Casserole Club is a scheme run as a partnership between Together Co and Brighton and Hove Food Partnership.
At the information session you will hear from current volunteers about their experiences as well as staff members who will be able to talk about how Casserole Club works and what’s involved in the sign up process. This will be an informal discussion with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. There will be light refreshments, tea and coffee available throughout.
We are running one of these sessions every six months for anyone that has an interest in volunteering for the Casserole Club scheme. If you are unable to attend this date, or you are keen to get started, you can call Together Co on 01273 775888 who will be able to tell you the next steps to take.
