Dementia Friendly Tea Party in the Park

We look forward to seeing friends old and new at our special Garden party in Preston Park at 2-4pm on Thursday 30th June 2022
Carers and those living with Dementia are invited to join us at this special one-off event celebrating friendship and the summer season.
The party will be hosted at the Food Partnership’s own fully accessible Demo garden and everyone will have an opportunity to explore the garden and enjoy this special place. There will be tea, homemade cakes and sandwiches and the opportunity to come together in a gentle sociable and supportive way.
This event is completely free.
There are bus routes and toilets close by.
Please email caroline@bhfood.org.uk to secure your place/s and let us let us know who’s coming and any dietary requirements.
When: Thursday 30th June 2022 – 2pm till 4pm.
I think it has been wonderful for me and we have made some good friends. Everyone has really gelled together and supported one another – we’ve had some great chats… Just being in the garden is wonderful.
Who is it for?: People with mild to moderate dementia or other memory issues.
Where: Preston Park Demo Garden, Preston Rd, Brighton BN1 6HN (just behind the Rotunda Café)
