Wed 17th October from 6.00 – 8.00 pm

 Every year the Food Partnership holds a public meeting (our Annual General Meeting) where an update on our work, our annual accounts and any governance questions are publicly discussed. It is also a chance for people interested in our work to meet staff and Board members and if required there will be an election for new Board members.

The 2018 meeting will take place on Wednesday 17th October in the Conference Room at Community Base. The event is free but as we are providing refreshments, please book your place in advance. The refreshments will be vegetarian but please let us know if you have any other dietary requirements.

Agenda

6.00pm Arrival and light refreshments

6.30 pm Chair’s welcome and update on the year

6.45pm   Formal business

  • Minutes from last year agreed (copy attached)
  • Election of new Board members and thank you to retiring Board members
  • Presentation of Annual Accounts and opportunity for questions
  • Agreement on next steps re organisational structure (see below)
  • If any formal questions have been submitted these will be answered at this point

7.15 pm Close of AGM

Up to 8pm Chance to meet with staff and Board members

The last AGM (27th July 2017) agreed that the Food Partnership should apply for charitable status. The meeting will provide an update on this process and agreement of next steps.

At the AGM anyone can ask a formal question about the way that the Food Partnership is run so long as we have received the question in writing to info@bhfood.org.uk 15 days in advance of the meeting (Tues 2nd October).

Papers (including details of a Board election if one is required) will be sent out / available from the 5th October.
