6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Be ready to roll on this course and discover the traditional techniques and authentic flavours of sushi. This is a great chance to learn a range of contemporary Japanese recipes with Jethro Carr, founder of pop-up cookery school Kitchen Academy.
Jethro will help you get to grips with the bamboo mats and roll your way to sushi success. You will typically try your hands at (and get to taste and take home): Sumeshi (vinegared rice), Norimaki (simple rolled sushi), Gunkanmaki (battleship rolls), Uramaki (inside out rolls), Temaki (hand rolls), Teriyaki Salmon and Easy okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake).
Please note that not all the recipes will be vegetarian but vegetarians will be well catered for.
Find out more about Jethro and the other cooks who teach in the Community Kitchen.
