Homemade Pizza Masterclass with Big Slice Pizza – FUNDRAISER, SOLD OUT

Wednesday 2nd February 2022
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

About this event

Learn the secrets to making the ultimate homemade pizza in this masterclass with local business owner and pizza lover Dan.

This is a special, fundraising event. Dan from Big Slice Pizza is donating his time to help us raise funds for our community cookery groups. Thank you all for your support!

Learn from a local business owner whose passion for making the best homemade pizza went from a hobby to a busy calendar of street food markets, festivals, parties and events.

Dan has made thousands of pizzas to test his dough, sauce and cooking methods to create the best Neapolitan inspired pizza and he’s keen to share what he’s learned with you.

You will enjoy a welcome glass of fizz, and then work in pairs to learn the essential skills and tips for great home pizza making, including:

  • the dough
  • the sauce
  • the cheese
  • the toppings
  • the oven/ cooking setup (Dan will bring his portable, professional ovens, which we can compare with the results from our domestic ovens at the Kitchen)

What people are saying about Big Slice: “The best pizza in Brighton & Hove! Good value, and a varied menu with plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. Always our first choice for take away :)” / “Right up there with the best Neapolitan pizzas in Brighton & Hove. I’ve eaten dozens of Dan’s pizzas and have never been let down! Hoping to book Big Slice Pizza for an event soon too.”
