1:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Explore and enjoy the wonderful world of spice with Minesh Agnihotri, founder of award-winning restaurant Indian Summer. Minesh specialises in authentic Indian cooking and will share with you the skills he learned at his mother’s side on holiday in Gujarat as he recreates the tastes of India in the Community Kitchen.
Depending on the dietary requirements of those attending, dishes may include: Mamaji’s chicken, with sweet potato and carrot thoran, basmati rice and chapatti; and/or Baingan Bharta, a vegan smoked aubergine dish served with parsnip thoran, onion and pea rice with chapatti (both also vegan).
About Minesh
Minesh Agnihotri’s passion for food was sparked during his frequent childhood trips to Gujarat in India. Later, dismayed by the offering of many traditional curry houses in the UK, in 2001 he founded Indian Summer, the award-winning Indian restaurant. His latest venture is The Kari Club, the UK’s first Indian recipe box giving everybody the chance to recreate authentic Indian food in their own homes.
Places on this Masterclass will help raise funds for our Community Cookery classes, thanks to Minesh generously donating his time for the event.
