Minesh Indian chef holding bowls of foodAnother fabulous class from the wonderful Minesh Agnihotri, this time offering the secrets behind the simply sensational street food for which India is famous.

In this workshop you will make three tongue-teasing, fresh chutneys: tamarind and date, coconut, and coriander, before learning how to create the perfect bhel puri and pakoras.

And as some things just can’t be hurried, Minesh will also demonstrate the slow-ferment techniques behind the traditional South Indian thick pancake uttapam so you can repeat at home.

This is a nibble-as-you-go night and you’ll be able to taste all the dishes as you prepare them. You won’t be going home hungry!

About Minesh

Minesh Agnihotri’s passion for food was sparked during his frequent childhood trips to Gujarat in India. Later, dismayed by the offering of many traditional curry houses in the UK, in 2001 he founded Indian Summer, the award-winning Indian restaurant. His latest venture is The Kari Club, the UK’s first Indian recipe box giving everybody the chance to recreate authentic Indian food in their own homes.

Booking instructions

Tickets for this event are £45, or £40 (per person) when booking two or more tickets at once. We have a limited number of tickets available at a concession rate of £30 for those who are in receipt of a means-tested benefit, as well as full-time students. If available, these options will appear in the drop-down when purchasing your ticket.

Refund policy:

We offer a full refund if you change or cancel your place up to 14 days before your class. If you cancel between seven and 14 days before your class, we offer a 50% refund. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds when a place is cancelled less than seven days before the class is due to take place. Please note Eventbrite now has a policy of keeping the Eventbrite fees associated with a booking (roughly 6.5% of the total cost) even when a refund is made.
