Learn to chop like a pro (and keep all fingers intact!) in this short, sharp workshop from Chef Kanthi.
You will learn a range of different cuts such as chop, slice, mince, julienne, paysanne and chifonnade. Practice your skills on a range of different vegetables and core ingredients. Then finish by preparing and cooking prawns (or tofu) to create a delicious, Asian-inspired salad or stir fry which you will sit and enjoy together. This class is adaptable to most dietary requirements, please specify when booking or contact us if you wish to discuss.
Chef Kanthi has taught hundreds of people knife skills and other cookery techniques when working at Jamie Oliver’s Recipease before he set up the Curry Leaf Cafe.
What previous participants said: “I enjoyed it – well explained, well demonstrated. Liked the group atmosphere and opportunity to actually do. Will use my knives properly now.” “Liked learning the correct methods and cooking what we prepared.”
