Learn how to welcome and support people with mental health issues at your food project. This workshop is for people who volunteer/ work at food banks, surplus food projects and shared meal settings.
This workshop will be led by Jo Wren from Grow. Grow is a project which brings a group of people together who experience stress, anxiety or any other mental health issues to take part in nature-based activities at Saddlescombe Farm.
The workshop will cover understanding different types of mental health issues, some of the things to consider when working with people with mental health issues and sharing best practice support.
There will be a maximum of 2 spaces per organisation, but if you would like more please contact Helen Starr-Keddle on helen@bhfood.org.uk or 07850 002596 to put their names on the waiting list.
