Wednesday 9 Oct 2019
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Preparing and eating seasonal foods and those gathered in the wild has a special place in our history and October is the peak of the forager’s and preserver’s year as nature offers up its riches.
In this Kitchen-based class, you will create a sumptuous range of sweet and savoury foods for your supper, plus goodies to takeaway: from fruit leathers and crumbles to wild mushroom dishes, nutty pestos and roasted sloes.
Recipes will be selected subject to seasonal availability – but whatever nature proffers for the evening, there will be plenty to learn about, cook up, and enjoy with friends. All recipes will be vegetarian, and adaptable for vegan diets.
