About this event

This is a special fundraising event and Xav is donating his time to help raise funds for our Community Cookery work.

Inspired by Xav’s Catalan heritage, this class explores the region’s culinary treasures and recreates the warm, communal atmosphere of a Catalan tapas bar. Xav’s recipes use everyday ingredients, ensuring you can easily recreate these mouth-watering dishes at home.

Your Tapas Feast for the evening will typically include:

  • Fideua- The Catalan version of Paella.
  • Gildas- A classic tapas dish using pickles and olives.
  • Pan con tomate- sourdough roasted and seasoned with oil, tomato and garlic accompanied with  charcuterie and manchego cheese.
  • Escalivada- A delicious mixture of roasted aubergine, onions and red peppers

* Dietary information: This class is adaptable for vegetarian diets but this must be specified when booking. For any other allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us to discuss before booking.

Tickets for this event include:

  • Professional cookery tuition

  • Hot drinks throughout the session – you are welcome to bring your own drinks to enjoy with the meal if you wish
  • A full meal to enjoy at the end of the class in our dining area (or to be boxed and taken away to enjoy at home)

He worked in fine dining venues for over 10 years in Europe and America until he decided to move on and commit to his photography.
