Cook along with vegan chef Sophie to make the ultimate vegan roast dinner.
In this class, Sophie of SuperDoux vegan catering shares her tried and tested recipes for roast dinner classics that you will cook again and again. She is passionate about veganising dishes with an emphasis on creativity and understanding flavours and textures.
If you are trying out a vegan diet yourself, or cooking for vegan friends or family, this class will give you the skills you need to improve your repertoire of delicious plant-based dishes. Learn the secret to essential flavours from a creamy white sauce to savoury/ umami flavoured gravy – all of which are deliciously vegan.
During the lesson you will work in pairs to create a tasty roast dinner with all the essentials including:
- A delicious slow cooked rich vegan gravy
- Individual mushroom truffle and toasted walnut wellingtons with shortcrust pastry
- Cheesy cauliflower cheese and creamy leeks
- Pan fried herby stuffing balls with olives and almonds
- (plus a side of crispy roast potatoes prepared by Sophie)
