Woodland Solstice Supper at Stanmer Park – an outdoor cookery event – SOLD OUT
About this event
Unwind around the fire in the lovely natural surroundings of Stanmer Wellbeing Gardens.
Soak up the magic of a midsummer evening in the woods with this site-inspired dining experience. Your two-and-a-half hour event will include a gentle walk through the trees and finish with a rustic, fireside meal celebrating the surroundings and the season.
You’ll be encouraged to pitch in with the prepping and discover what’s possible with just a few outdoor-cooking skills. This is a very special way to unwind, a mellow weekday event to remember.

Our sample menu for the evening includes:
- To start: Honey and thyme baked camembert with fire-baked bread
- Chargrilled vegetables with wild green salsa verde
- Herby butter flat bread
- Mixed bean, olive and wild garlic cassoulet
- Homegrown salad with edible flowers
- Dessert: Gooseberry and elderflower crumble cooked over fire with crème fraiche
