A chance for your child to learn classic cookery skills whilst virtually travelling the world! This session features the cuisine of Spain.
We are back this October half-term with our World of Food sessions for the young cook in your life. These fun, hands-on workshops with experienced cookery teacher and mum Jess will see your child learning classic cookery skills whilst virtually travelling the world. You may never want to cook again!
The menu for this Spanish-themed session is:
- caramelised onion and cheese empanadas
- baked churros with chocolate sauce
Skills covered include safe knife use (the bridge and the claw), safe frying and baking, piping, working with pastry alongside mixing and measuring.
Dietary requirements: The menu for the class is vegetarian. For any other dietary requirements or allergies, please contact us to discuss before booking.
Tickets for this event include:
- professional cookery tuition
- all ingredients and equipment
- soft drinks available throughout the session
- a light meal to taste and take away
- all recipes from the class.

Covid-19/ safety information
This class takes place after 19th July when social distancing rules and other covid-related regulations are removed. If new restrictions are announced, we will adapt our procedures according to the latest government guidelines and any updates will be sent by email and listed on our website. Our Kitchen space continues to be kept to a very high standard of cleaning and hygiene.
Tickets for this event are £25 per child. We have a limited number of concession tickets at £15 for families in receipt of a means-tested benefit, use the drop-down to select this option. This session has been designed for those aged 7 to 13.
We are unable to provide refunds except if there is a mistake with the booking and we are notified within 48 hours after booking. In the event of any change in government covid guidelines, we will reschedule classes if necessary and bookings will be valid for the new date or can be transferred to another event.
If your child is unable to attend the class for any reason, we encourage you to transfer your booking to another child who can attend in their place.
