These delicious cookies are a go-to option when you need something for your cup of tea.
Serves 12 people
- 100 grams butter
- 100 self-raising flour
- 100 oats
- 50 raisins
- 25 light muscavado sugar
- 45 clear honey
- 2 pinch(es) mixed spice
- Pre Heat oven 170o C
- Line baking sheet with greaseproof paper
- Melt the butter, sugar and honey in a pan
- Stir in flour, spice oats and raisins.
- Mix well and allow to cool for 5 minutes
- Shape in to 12 equal balls then place them on the baking sheet and flatten down into cookies.
- Flatten tops slightly with a fork
- Bake for 15 minutes
- Leave to cool on a wire rack

Have all the dry ingredienst mixed in a jar ready and waiting so when you crave a cookie you can quicky add butter and honey mix and bake.
