This recipe does require use of a hob or hotplate but it’s so simple we had to include it – tasty pancakes made with just two ingredients, you might never make them the old fashioned way again.
Serves 1 people
- 1 egg
- 1 banana
- Extras – cinnamon, oats
Equipment:
Frying pan, bowl, fork and spatula
1. Mash the banana in a bowl. Crack the egg into the mixture and lightly whisk together with a fork. You can also add some cinnamon or a tablespoon of oats at this stage too.
2. Add a tsp of oil or spread to a frying pan on a medium heat. When melted add the
mixture in two or three smallish rounds to the pan, a smaller pancake is easier to flip.
3. Cook for around 2 minutes on one side before flipping over. Cook for a further two minutes until golden brown
4. Enjoy as it is or with some plain yogurt and chopped fruit
