Real Junk Food Project – Hollingdean

You are accessing the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership website directory – we don’t run the projects listed, we share their details to help people find local services. This page is kept updated regularly by the Food Partnership team, but please use the contact details on the listing if needed to ensure you get the most up-to-date details for this project.

Offers pay as you feel meals as part of the Real Junk Food Project network, a national and international movement of cafes, projects and pop-ups.

Regular customers and loyal volunteers make this a truly special community service.

You’ll find it on Thompson Road, a surprisingly quick walk from Moulscoomb train station and Brighton University.

Volunteer roles are always available: They need help with cooking, prepping, weighing and sorting food, serving in the cafes, clearing and packing down, washing up, social media, data collection, drivers (especially evenings and weekends). Most roles involve heavy lifting.
