In this hands-on workshop with expertise from a professional baker, come prepared to roll up your sleeves and measure, mix, knead and mould as you conjure up focaccia, pizza base, white loaf and baguette – all from the one dough.
Pâtissier Justin Gourlay, who owns the Open Bakery in Kemptown and worked with Real Patisserie for 10 years, will show you how good bread-making is within the grasp and pocket of everybody, and demonstrate the techniques that allow you to transform simple and inexpensive ingredients into great bread basics. The workshop will end with sitting down to enjoy a delicious pizza meal together.
The low-cost places on this class are available thanks to Justin from the Open Bakery generously donating time for the event.
