Bite-size Christmas baking with Charlotte Fuller (online)

In this seasonal special, pastry chef Charlotte Fuller helps you create classic festive stollen and decorative chocolate truffles.

chocolate truffles in bowlSteal the hearts of friends and family with these adorable mini-stollen and pretty little truffles. They’re perfect bite-sized treats for Christmas at home – or will look beautiful boxed up for a very special handmade gift.

In this class you will mix the spiced, fruity dough base distinctive of stollen before moulding it with golden marzipan to create your festive mini-loaves. As these bake, you’ll get rolling to produce your delicious chocolate truffles. A delightful and indulgent duo that’s sure to impress.

Note on ingredients and equipment:

We will supply a full list of ingredients and equipment upon booking, most of which are typically available in a home kitchen, but the list does include:

  • Dried fruit and nuts (plus alcohol to soak them in, or use orange juice if you prefer)
  • Marzipan
  • Instructions to make a simple chocolate ganache (a mix of chocolate, sugar, cream and glucose syrup) before the class starts to use in your truffles

Booking instructions

Tickets for this event are offered on a ‘pay by donation’ basis. We suggest a donation of £20 per session, or £5-10 if unwaged, and £25-30 if you are able to ‘pay it forward’ to help us keep these classes accessible to all. Please note we do not typically offer refunds on online events.
