Tuesday 7 Dec 2021
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Learn to chop like a pro (and keep all fingers intact!) in this short, sharp workshop from Chef Kanthi.
You will learn a range of different cuts such as chop, slice, mince, julienne, paysanne and chiffonnade. Practice your skills on a range of different vegetables and core ingredients. Then finish by preparing and cooking prawns (or tofu) to create a delicious, Asian inspired salad which you will sit and enjoy together.
Chef Kanthi has taught hundreds of people knife skills and other cookery techniques when working at Jamie Oliver’s Recipease before he set up the Curry Leaf Cafe. Find out more about Kanthi and the other cooks who teach in the Community Kitchen.
