About this event

Who’s this for? Those living with mild to moderate dementia who would enjoy cooking together in a sociable atmosphere.

Older people cookingCooking, eating and spending time preparing a meal can be a wonderful activity to help bring back happy memories of the past or previous knowledge. At our cookery club, participants get involved in preparing a healthy meal, with different dishes each session. We then eat the food together as a shared lunch. Participants may attend alongside a family member, friend or carer if needed. Our course is tailored to the needs and interests of the participants, within a friendly and supportive environment.
