Brighton Permaculture Trust focuses on inspiring, connecting, and learning to enable people and the planet to flourish. The organisation works towards a sustainable future through local permaculture education, demonstration, and design. It is run by an experienced team of volunteers and permaculturists, with support from a management group and trustees. Funding is obtained through course and event fees, grants, and donations.

Racehill Community Orchard, a three acre site in East Brighton overlooking Whitehawk and the sea.
- a small stall outside Scrump HQ (The Fruit Factory) in Stanmer Village that sells juice, cider, and other fruity products made from local fruit that would otherwise be wasted.
